Do you have what it takes to be the next Kiefer Kia Princess and star in a television commercial. KMTR-TV and KKNU New Country 93 are searching for the next Kiefer Kia Princess (or Prince!). If you think you have what it takes, here’s what you need to do: Create a video performing as the Princess – no time minimum or limit. Include the line: “Nobody Beats a Kiefer Kia Deal” and other elements that demonstrate your ability to meet the contest’s judging criteria. The Video can be based on anything you like – but keep it clean. CLICK HERE to upload your video. We will start selecting semi-finalists for “call-backs” on July 5th, but you can submit your video until August 15th, at which point we will close open auditions, select the final call-back finalists, and announce the winner.

Race for the Cure in Eugene!
New Country 93.3 encourages you to join the movement to end breast cancer forever. Teams are forming now for the inaugural 2010 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Autzen Stadium on October 10th. Every dollar raised funds research and free screenings for uninsured and low-income women in the Eugene area. Register as a team or individual, or make a donation at www.komenoregon.org.

Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Motorcycle Ride!
WHAT: Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Celebrity Motorcycle Ride with Rockie Lynne.
The route of the ride will visit at least ( 3 ) families of fallen soldiers to provide each family a special plaque of distinguished service. WHEN: Thursday August 19, 2010 - Check in begins at 8:00am COST: The cost to ride is $25 for a single rider / $30 for a couple. A percentage of the money raised is distributed to the "Children of Fallen Soldiers Education Fund".
